This time we are flying from MKE-ORD-LAX-AKL. For months we were to land in LAX terminal 7 and depart from terminal 7. We would have lots of time and planned on stopping in the UC in terminal 7. All good.
Today we are supposed to depart from TBIT. As far as I can see we will have to walk all the way. That looks like a LONG way. We are in our 70's and with more than a few walking issues. I have watched several YouTube videos and none show anything other than walking. All the terminal maps that I have looked at don't have any kind of Airside trams or busses or anything. If I have to walk all the way tomorrow it will take me till next week.
Will there be anything there to help old people out?
Let me say, you look great for your age. 😀
If you enjoy going through security and are open to a nice bus ride, you can connect to the TBIT landslide. I’ve never done it, but I’m told it’s doable. As hinted, you will have to go through security again.
I’ve never given it much thought, but I’d be surprised if there isn’t a way to accommodate passengers who’d be stressed by walking. I have seen wheelchairs leaving T7; I assume, it’s possible to have a passenger brought over to Terminal B; it’s a hike, involving escalators/elevators at three different points and some mildly challenging twists and turns in different terminals.

I’ll be at LAX this evening and am going to ask someone I know. I’ve walked to TBIT many times and, until now, didn’t really consider how someone with mobility issues could make the trip. They must have some sort of service. I was think “golf cart,” there’s always four to six near the UC that seem to be never used; however, U don’t know how they’d do at the T6 choke point. Once they reach the escalators near the MLL, they’re dead! They’d do a great job getting from T6 to T4, but couldn’t get down to the tunnels. They really need a golf cart relay system!

I’ve never seen it happen either.
