Almost all the rooms at Circa have a couch that a friend can crash on. Many have a couch that actually pulls out to a bed. They also have a twin king room (two king beds) and other larger rooms. If you are booked into a regular king, it shouldn't be too hard to ask for a corner king which ensures a fold out couch. The agent who booked may not know what kind of room will be available, call your host, they will tell you exactly what you can/will get. Buying up to a full suite will be tough that weekend, but in regular times is fairly easy. Because most (though admittedly not all) the couches fold out, I don't think they actually do roll aways at Circa which may be why the phone agent was evasive.
