I have just read an article in
LoyaltyLobby and the latest BA wording which I think clarifies how the changes will impact on me, though I am still slightly confused. Would be helpful if BA provided a calculator so that you can work with dummy figures.
My current collection period ends 8th January 2025. I expect to earn ~5,500 TPs between 9th January 2024 and 8th January 2025 and ~4000 TPs between 1st April 2024 and
8th January. I anticipate earning ~1,500 TPs between January 9th 2025 and 31st March 2025.
Based on the above am I correct in assuming that I will be GGL for the year starting 1st April 2025 and that I will also start the year with 1,500 TPs and require an additional 1,500 TPs to retain GGL?
