Based on the above, I'm a bit confused as to why you even need to book a SIN-DPS ticket. If the cruise leaves from DPS and ends in SIN, then all you need to do is book a ticket into DPS but out of SIN. This is something AA.com should be able to handle by using the multi city function. Do your home city to DPS on whatever date and then your return from SIN to your home city on a date you prefer. No need to book a roundtrip out of DPS.
