Can you explain how you got to Singapore? And what was the experience like re-checking bags for the SIN-DPS flight? You always have to pick up in baggage claim and go back through security, correct?

I think it might be easier to get a hotel in SIN for a day or two and do a city tour if we have to re-check bags anyway at the airport.
