I strongly recommend Las Hayas Resort - even though it is a short way (10 min drive) from downtown, there is a free shuttle or alternatively, cabs are plentiful and cheap. Nice pool/hot tub, very spacious rooms, excellent service. Breakfast was included and very good; we did not eat in the restaurant (choosing to go to downtown restaurants instead) but had good experiences with drinks/snacks at the bar.
