Assuming 3000 TP gained 1 April 2024 to 8 Jan 2025, then you receive
1 set of benefits for 8 Jan 2025 + another set for 31 March 2025!
I too am trying to get my head around the impact of these changes for me.
My current year ends 8 February.
Between April 2024 and 8 February 2025 I expect to accumulate the 5k TPs required for GGL.
According to
BA my following year will run 9 February 2025 - 21 March 2025 and be (temporarily) topped up with the TPs I accumulated during 1 April 2024 - 8 February 2025, which would be the full 5k.
I think the net effect of this is simply to extend my GGL benefits from this year until 30 April 2026 and give me until 31 March 2026 (rather than 8 February 2026) to accumulate 3k TPs, if I wish to extend GGL for another year. Are there any other pros/cons I'm missing for GGL members?
