Sounds like it’s time to change your country if you don’t have to worry about credit card country constraints . The Avios Subscription and Avios Boost products are decent value (I assume they are country restricted?).

As an aside re: the current Avios stinginess it’s ironic that that as a price sensitive customer I am now less incentivised to be loyal to BA as the difference in earning on QR/CX is reduced, I fly BA if they offer the price and schedule that I need and the Avios are a tertiary consideration. They are now rewarding fliers that will fly them regardless - quite bizarre.
