I don’t know the current answer to the question, my last personal cards were almost 5 years ago when it was possible to have two accounts open at the same time. Between 5 and 9 years ago, I closed many accounts just a few months after opening.

During the past few years, when I would be loath to close an account prior to 12 months, I’ve had two or three open biz accounts at any given time.
