Boeing is clearly in trouble right now w/r/t quality, and Delta appears dead set against the Dreamliner (proving them right thus far).
I think Delta held out hope for a "real" 757 replacement - which never materialized - and has been shifting more and more to the A321.

But they absolutely need to replace the ~65 767's - even after doing cabin overhauls...
The question is "with what"? A330neo? They can't be held hostage with a 100% Airbus fleet....
