Boeing needs to clean house and go back to their roots, however, thousands of Maxes have been flying safely for several years now, so this feels more of a one off since the same plug is used on the 739s that have been in service and produced for over a decade. Let's remember, that the A320 when it launched back in the late 80s had years of teething problems and early 707s were crashing once or twice a year so let's be thankful that these planes when they do get in trouble are still safe.. I think the manufacturers need to slow it down and the NTSB better step up testing. The MAX is the most tested airplane in the skys and even with that said, accidents can and will happen.

Let's be thankful that other then nerves, everyone is safe, AK did an amazing job and the -900 and -9 will be a better plane because of it (as well as the -10 and -200).
