I think the question becomes whether the hotel has the power to directly deduct points from your account- outside the standard online system through WOH. If so, then it'll really be at hotel discretion.
TBH, I don't think hotels view SUAs in the same vein as the LP Suite/Premium Suite upgrade rates, but you never know.
