Thank you mia, I accidently hit AmEx 10 charge (NLL) card limit a while ago and it was tedious to resolve. I looked yesterday and I was at 4 which is rare for me. Usually at 2 but in the past 6-9 months I opened SUB-then-sock-drawer Delta and Marriott cards, I’ll be back to 2 in another 3-6 months.

Currently no other NLL offers (for me) and gotta feed my addiction 😉, applied yesterday, instant approval, stated card to be received by 12/29/23, guess for AmEx shipping a no AF BBP card isn’t as urgent as shipping other cards. (Planning to meet minimum spend with January 15th estimated tax payments.)

Since my first few NLL cards, I’m always amazed when I see an instant approval and I’m always very pleasantly surprised when I see the SUB post. Particularly this approval being that it occurred immediately following an infuriating retention offer call. I figure every subsequent application is an opportunity for AmEx to initiate adverse action (declined application, pop-up jail, declined SUB, financial review). Guess I’ll keep riding this gravy train until it gets to the end of the line .

Happy holidays all, happy and healthy and safe new year to all.
