My rented apartment in VCE in Dec 2003 was a great seafood palace. Everyday, I went to the Rialto Fish Market, came home and prepared beautiful and simple dishes with the most extraordinary fresh seafood Of course, I also bought my fresh vegetables at the Rialto. Even if you are not interested in preparing a meal, the Rialto Market in VCE is well worth a visit. During my 2 weeks there, I even found my favorite fishmonger.
I also have to say that we had a very good friend in Lisbon (sadly, he passed away a couple of years ago). The fish in Lisbon was so fresh and wonderful (particularly served with the "green wine.)"
