The starter was quite good but the main course was very poor. It was meant to be truffle pasta but there was very little discernible truffle taste, the sauce was very creamy but not that cheesy, it was almost like eating plain pasta in double cream - very cloying and heavy whilst lacking in real flavour. It was also over heated to the point the pasta was falling apart. The other options were the cod masala or a Turkey Christmas Dinner (in early December ) A very poor showing from BA and night and day worse than IB and AA who I also flew on my TP run. I did want dessert but tiredness won out. I had one glass of the Yealands Pinot Noir which was not to my taste, a very average pinot. And did I see right in that some of the whites are now 2023 vintage?! Only BA…

It’s so strange how the CW food remains crappy over the years, and yet CE can be quite good, and IB long haul was very good.
