Previous GS/1K and now Plat and I have been on this route for years and I couldn't agree more that upgrades are as rare as hen's teeth for sure. As I posted above with my current UA status and am fully in the "want F buy F" group. I do have my collection of favorite E+, aisle, and "hobo first" seats that I will occasionally grab when F is unobtainable/unaffordable. I am now always pricing out B6 Mint as an option.
