My thought exactly. It’s about dumping inventories so it’s no surprising that most of the good sets are not on sale. Concorde has been on backorder most of the time since it’s released so I really doubt it will be on sale anytime soon.

Luckily the price of lego is one or two orders of magnitude less than J tickets or hotel rooms, so I don’t need to wait for a sale to get what I want. Though the first thing I check isn’t the price, I check for dimensions first then I need to solve some sort of knapsack problem. I remember spending lots of time budgeting for hobbies when I was a kid, now I am spending even more time looking for space…
