Its too bad these flights are not timed to allow a good connection to YHZ. Without the non stop to YHZ, it would be nice to avoid YYZ or YUL.
Given AC's OTP track record and limited frequency, I would be hesitant to connect at smaller airports like YOW unless I have a very long connection time, which somewhat negatives the benefits of transiting via a less busy airport.
