My brother flew a Qatar airways Business Class return flight in December 2022. He did not claim his Avios points back then.
According to policy, for New members- Avios can be claimed up to 180 days after the date of travel.

Now, the problem is it's been over 180 days since he travelled..... He signed up to Privilege Club and chatted with support to try claim the points. The support staff said since its over 180days she may not be able to over ride the policy.

My Question: is it possible to get the email of the right team one can escalate this too? to see if they can over ride the policy. Even if it comes with a penalty of only claiming maybe half the Avios.

The return flight on business class generated a lot of miles, and it would be sad to see this go to waste.

Anyone who has been in similar situation or knows a way around this do drop your comments please.
