This is the first time this has been mentioned - and is somewhat promising. MSP (a bit like SLC) is a secondary hub, but actually a decent airport to transit through. I was interested to see whether SK would choose DTW or MSP. I don't believe in making business decisions based on any of the nostalgic guff about Swedish people emigrating to Minnesota, but I don't mind the prospect of MSP as a connection in the future.
