A reports from the recent Oslo Eurobonus event - https://finalcall.travel/no/nyheter-...lemmer-i-oslo/

SAS attended the event with its CEO, Anko van der Werff, EVP & Chief Commercial Officer Paul Verhagen and the head of EuroBonus, Aron Backström. These three were interviewed on stage and here are the most important points:
  • Booking of meals in Biz will come in Q1 2024. Less regular.
  • Better food and drink in the lounges
  • Claims that Avinor is against lounges at small airports such as Stavanger and Trondheim
  • Comes with a new concept of "sustainability" based on membership level.
  • Hoping to get rebooking on the day of EBD into the app during the year.
  • Own vip customer care center with 10-15 people. Launched a week ago. Same no.
  • There are exciting offers coming to the Caribbean.
  • Diamond for lifetime does not come in the first year.
  • Will eventually replace the Washington route with a route to Minneapolis for onward connections with Delta
  • No one would invest $1.5 billion and then alienate their most loyal customers by letting them lose points or status. So we shouldn't be afraid of points and status.
