When I have stayed at YYZ, it has been after arriving on a positioning flight to take the late morning ET flight to Addis, the next day. I usually arrive around 16:00 to 18:00 and I can wait 30+ minutes for the hotel shuttle.

Seat13F_AC_CRJ about booking an Uber, taxi, etc. I have had issues with free hotel shuttles late at night, early in the day and on holidays. Most hotels are running on minimum staffing at those times and you can get stuck waiting on someone to drive you to the airport.

Thank you very much. Yes I do not care about the breakfast as I have early flight and I will miss it so it is just a place to sleep as late arrival and the shuttle to and from the airport. So I am not interested in dinner or the breakfast. Just a place to sleep for a few hours and of course take a shower etc.
