Well, EBD is Star Alliance gold, so an EBD would probably be status matched to SEN. I certainly would not expect Lufthansa to match an EBD, or even an EBP, to HON. If Lufthansa would offer a status match, So, by your own words, all current gold card holders with EBD or EBP would be able to maintain SEN.
