I quickly looked through all the websites that I could find that buy gift cards and none of them will even buy them. Gift cards to anything that's not widely used (like Starbucks, Walmart, Target, Amazon) generally sell at a steep discount to face value. Restaurant chain gift cards can be bought for a 15% to 20% discount at Costco, even for national chains. If you could get 65-70%, I would think that would be pretty good.
You would be stuck trying to sell them on places like Facebook. It's significant work and there's no guarantee that they would sell. This is a few boutique hotels in a few parts of the world.
If you can make it work it would be pretty good. Honestly even if you have to sell a $300 card for $200, that would not be terrible, but I'm not sure that you could even get that.
I completely agree with you. I think it's ludicrous to believe you'd be able to sell these easily at anywhere near face value. And it will get even worse when a bunch of people attempt this and "flood" the market with Mr & Mrs. Smith gift cards next year.
Anyone that truly attempts this as a "cheap" way to manufacture Globalist is likely to get their face ripped off.

According to the FAQ (source:
