I noticed that I have not yet reported here about my stay at the Merrion.
Generally a nice hotel in a good location, but the rooms could do with some renovation. I found the bathroom in particular - as you can see from the photo above - to be out of date. The service was very well-staffed and good overall (with the exception of check-out). I didn't find the breakfast that great, but the gourmet restaurant was very good.
Would I recommend it? Considering the price for our suite (1,550.00 + breakfast), it is way too much. For that you can expect much more, even in today's times.
