Ex: Ending 2023 as earned DM with ~340k MQM. Early in 2024, I will have 125k will be deducted for 2024 DM qualification, leaving 215k excess MQM. I’ll have a good shot at qualifying for 2025 DM with little or no “help” from the MQM:MQD conversion. Would I be able to organically earn DM for 2025 Medallion year and extend (with 200k rollover) for two additional years? Or does the extension automatically start in the 2025 medallion year?
I'm in a similiar situation. From reading "through the lines" i think that we only have one shot to convert MQMS into status extension and that is during 2024 ( but you can wait for your final decision untill december 31st ). I was hoping that one can make that decision every year again untill we ran out of MQM's but it seems that there is i final date to do this by the end of next year.
