My wife and I do ex-JFK to India (mostly DEL/BOM) and Thailand (BKK) few times a year. Always J, and with DL/AF/KLM/VS.

She just did UA from EWR-DEL non-stop in J, and liked the hard product and the fact that one doesn’t have to deal with transfers at CDG/AMS/LHR.

If I were you, I would jump ship, and become a free agent. Nothing beats a non-stop flight for me as I “value” time more and more…
