How many MQMs do you have now? It sounds possible that you will lose them all and not be able to convert anything next year if you don’t hit SM status this year. If it’s a significant amount, I would definitely confirm this and figure out a way to get there, whether through flights or spend. If it’s a small number, no big deal.
