Great changes for US based Medallion members but 28K MQDs for international Medallion members will be difficult to achieve. We don't have the benefit of getting a boost with the co-branded credit cards & taxes/fees don't count towards the MQD spend. That means we have to spend closer to $40K a year just on Delta flights to qualify for Diamond status.
I do like the fact that they have brought back the option to choose a Skyclub individual membership through Choice Benefits. There is no mention on RUCs & GUCs but I'm assuming those should remain.
Million Miler changes are great too. Lifetime Platinum becomes achievable for me & if I do decide to continue with Delta then lifetime Diamond will be possible in a few years.
There is NOTHING in that release that says "Lifetime" so things could change. Consider that before you spend the next few years chasing status
