I've been diamond for years. I have two reserve cards, and my husband has one. I put enough spend on the cards to collect many if not all of the MQM boosts. With rollover, extensions, and the boosts, I have amassed a huge amount of MQMs. I fly about 75-100 segments a year, and I obviously cherish my DM status. More often than not, my husband joins, so we both enjoy the shared DM status. I'm at 90% upgrades for the year and have managed to find decent J redemptions on DL partners or Y redemptions on DL when I'm getting 2+ CPM.

I churn AA, AS, and UA visa/mastercards. So, I always have a mass of AA and UA miles to score better redemptions for longhaul J, but I put all of my domestic spend on DL.
