I’m impressed 1Ms now get lifetime Gold status. That’s just matching what UA has offered forever, but it’s still notable. At least I’ll have STE+ whenever I fly a ST carrier now.

Still wish they had some different thresholds or waivers for people outside the US though. Japan’s currency is so weak right now that $28k is probably above the average salary for the whole country.
