YQT-YYZ: Rouge, 0500 and 0945 departures only. Minimum 7 hr layover for even the earliest TATL flights.
Similar situation here in YAM (and I imagine many of the other Jazz outstations). Along with everything else, elimination of the DH1s & DH3s in favour of DH4s means we've gone from 5 flights a day down to 2...which can make for some pretty bad layovers to/from TATL flights. And you're betting pretty heavily on the reliability of the 2115 YYZ-YAM "cleanup" flight when it's the only one all your incoming TATL pax can connect to.
I guess the takeaway is that, shockingly, YQT is not a desirable winter destination, especially for TATLs

.
Pre-covid I was always shocked at the % of YAM pax who were connecting for TATL or somewhere else overseas. Given that the Soo is a small northern town, we have a surprising number of folks going to visit family in Italy, heading to Germany on business, etc etc.
