But no worries, that's sufficient status to get our friend into OW lounges, regardless of class of travel and carrier-imposed "lite" restrictions. But not into QR's: they like to be special, and have never quite captured the full spirit of alliance membership.

So for T1 I think that limits choice to BA and Qantas: opening hours might be the decider.
I’m not sure that’s completely fair. QR does not distinguish between its own and other OW elites generally, but reserves the better lounges exclusively for business or first passengers. BA does this too with the CCR, as do some other airlines.
