I think you'll find very few retailers willing to ship high value items via standard post, it's almost always express via Fedex/UPS/DHL in which case duties are almost guaranteed. My experience earlier this year buying Rimowa from an EU retailer was shipped with Fedex. Still managed to save a few hundred dollars even after paying ~$200 iirc to Fedex though so not complaining.
