As previously stated, if you are based in the US (with a US address), you can drop off your case which needs servicing at any Rimowa store, and most likely, they will send your case to a repair center, fix it up, and then ship it back to your door.
2 of my Rimowa Limbo (pre-LVMH) were taken to the Beverly Hills store for repair of the telescopic handle - one was under the 5 years warranty so it was free while the other was not, so I paid to have it fixed. Both were sent back to me at my house via UPS with signature required. I also took a pre-LMVH Topas aluminum to the Rimowa store at Graysorn Village in Bangkok to have the wheels repaired (out of warranty) and they had to send it out for repair but agreed to have me pick it up at the store instead of sending it to my hotel.
