IF Wife and I are going DFW-DOH-CPT in business lite I'm AA EXP/OWE and she is AA PP/OWE (She may be OWS next year) can we choose seats? And what lounge can we use? Side question is there smoking areas in the lounges or nearby?

If your AA FF number is attached to the ticket, you should get free seat selection on all fares. And you’ll get access to the Platnium lounges at DOH. Im not sure about smoking rooms in the Platnium lounges, but since they have them in AS and the AMs, and it being the Middle East, I would think they would exist in the Platnium lounge too. And if not, there are scores of smoking rooms located throughout the terminal.
