Given the uncertainty about equipment changes with TK I would never base my choice of flight/travel date on a specific aircraft; then there is a significant risk that you will then end up disappointed.
For anybody who has a strong preference for a specific seat, I would try to set my schedule for a specific a/c. Even with occasional a/c swap, there’s less chance of disappointment with this scheme than going knowingly with an a/c that is anyway going to disappoint you.
