For the flight we were booked onon Sept. 30, the tail number is still scheduled to operate all previous flights before ours. Which has been cancelled two days ahead because of an "unforeseen aircraft maintenance issue."

My guess is, they serve you BS so as to dissuade you from filing a claim under the APPR.
