Did you see the shoeless Viet climb a coconut tree in DaNang? It's amazing!
Best part of Da Nang was going to Hoi An about 20 miles away. I rented a motor scooter $4/day.
Hoi An was my favorite part of Vietnam. Great restaurant bar scene along a river with numbers Viet lights strung along river for great view.
Sand in Da Nang and Nah Trang is very coarse......undertow is incredible in winter no wading in Da Nang into the water(december when I went).
Flew Viet Jet econ class $15-$25 each leg 5 years ago......prices seem to be much higher now.
Did Saigon-Nah Trang-Da Nag-Hoi AN- Ha Long Bay-Hanoi.

Viet food in US so expensive now...I really want to go on a foodie tour in SE Asia again.
