In 1998 I was able to sit in the cockpit of an A320 during landing on a flight from YYZ to DEN.

Couple of years ago, my grandmother was visiting the US and had a medical emergency. I had to fly down to escort her back by air ambulance, which was in a Learjet. The co-pilot let me sit up in the cockpit for an hour during cruise. Loved being at FL410 and hearing all the AC/WS flights on the comm's flying below us at FL370 or whatnot. Never would have wished this experience on my grandmother, but it was a memorable flight back!
