Agreed MUC is much better as an airport. Or ZRH. But it would entail connecting somewhere east, so these were not really an option. Also if connecting east, there are many flights to what could well be our final destination.

Still, FRA is better than LHR or CDG, perhaps BRU or AMS. Also, if you are familiar with the place, you can actually navigate it easily. It has good concierges and a very decent MLL.

But anyway, at this point it's moot. I switched four already booked connections at FRA to LHR on the YYC-LHR flight. A last one connecting east.
I mostly agree with everything you wrote CDG is attrocious but I never connect there . no *Alliance connections ... LHR is better than FRA but when you need to connect to a different terminal, it's so huge it sucks ... also the walking distance is HUGE ... AMS ... no *Alliance so I almost never use it ... BRU to me is not so bad but rarely use it except to get to Brussels, in that case it's a good small airport ...

The concierge staff at FRA always SAVES the FRA experience .. again a few weeks ago for me !! and the MLL is very good but limited food ...
