You must be the only one .. Altought unavoidable (4 times this year at FRA) : for me it's one of the WORST airports in Europe ... It was 10x better twice this year when I connected thru YUL-MUC (even though I didn't like the J on LH) ...
I meant that *because of the YYC-FRA flight....*.
Agreed MUC is much better as an airport. Or ZRH. But it would entail connecting somewhere east, so these were not really an option. Also if connecting east, there are many flights to what could well be our final destination.
Still, FRA is better than LHR or CDG, perhaps BRU or AMS. Also, if you are familiar with the place, you can actually navigate it easily. It has good concierges and a very decent MLL.
But anyway, at this point it's moot. I switched four already booked connections at FRA to LHR on the YYC-LHR flight. A last one connecting east.
