Well without YYC-FRA you have to do YYC-YYZ-FRA plus another connecting flight .. that's not exactly interesting for a FF or business traveler ... and flying on a partner airline across the pond you can't get your FF upgrade so much less interesting ...

You must be the only one .. Altought unavoidable (4 times this year at FRA) : for me it's one of the WORST airports in Europe ... It was 10x better twice this year when I connected thru YUL-MUC (even though I didn't like the J seats on LH) ...
