Do you have a reference or source for that - esp. including non QF issued award tickets? My data points are inconsistent with that so I am very interested...

For example responses I have had are;
- That is a non flexible fare
- Change flights on a "free" ticket, no...
- No space in X/U so sorry (I forget what fare bucket Y books into assuming it X and U but could be wrong
- You will need to phone the FF desk and pay a change fee
