The fights will be early morning westbound / late evening eastbound. They probably have a spare aircraft or two sitting around overnight at YYC at those times. All they need is a crew (which is easier said than done right now).
I would be very surprised if PD doesn't also try to pick up the YOW routes that AC is suspending. YOW is becoming quite the PD hub.
