There is a plain unmarked door that leads to some stairs that go up to that rooftop bar. I think we saw the rooftop from down below, and had to investigate to get up there. There was a function going on that evening, so maybe it was propped open, and we being Nosey Parkers, went to have a look?? Just asked DH, and he has the same recollection.
