The spread between buy & sell rates for blue market transactions are now at least AR$10 (for retail transactions). Please remember that "small head" $100 bills are going to be subject to mark-downs and/or non acceptance, so please make sure to try to bring newish release bills... they dont have to be the very latest version of the Ben Franklin note, but dont go back more than 2 versions if you want to keep it safe. The golden rule is to make sure your $100 bill has a large portrait of Uncle Ben and you should be fine....
When we changed in Iguazu we had big Franklins and he still rejected 2 of them. They came straight from our bank in NY, he looked on the back and didnt see something or maybe it was due to seeing something but he handed 2 of the bills back to us. Gave him another 100 and 5 @ 20s since we needed $400 changed
