Taxiied right by 6441 and the UA maintenance hangars yesterday when I landed in IAH (took a very circuitous route from 8L to the gate after landing to kill time to free up a gate - another plane went mx in the assigned gate so had to shuffle last minute into a new gate). Got a nice view of a side of IAH I've never seen.

6441 is still outside in front of the maintenance hangar, creases and all. Looks like they've wrapped some sort of protective sheet around the front part of the a/c, particularly around the crease/fuselage damage. Also looks like they've taped up the exhaust cone; 6441 definitely won't be flying for a while!

Does anyone here have any new updates on 6441?
