So rented a 2022 Honda accord at PDX the other day. before I returned it, I filled up the gas. at the return location, the agent checked my car and told me everything is fine and she will send me an email receipt. I am in a hurry to go to the airport so i did not bother to ask the details. 15 mins later on, when i past the security checkpoint, i got the email.
5 gallons refuel charge. okay, the agent may look at the wrong gauge. Do they do any trainings at all on all different car?
and $35 EV recharge. Does accord even have a plugin option?
So i called the customer service the next day. She told me, oh your car is coded as dual systems, with both gas and electrical so we charge you both fees. I asked her how do you charge an accord hybrid with a plugin? The only hole in that car is a gas tank fill hole. She said I need to submit a gas receipt to get it all removed.
by that time, I am already on the phone with them for almost 1 hour and she instructed me to send an email to
[email protected] and gave her the case number. i waited for 10 minutes nothing came back from their email system. I gave up and ask her i want to talk to her manager, and after another 5 minutes of silence I hang up the phone.
