Renew on June 15 and status immediately downgraded to Platinum. I have 25 nights booked prior to July 31st and will miss out on 6 weeks of wildy elevated benefits as a Diamond (at one Mercure I frequent Diamonds get an extra cookie over Platinums at check-in

I have the same issue/case.
My membership expiry date was in August 31, 2023, then renewed on the 24th of August 2023. On the 30th, my status suddenly donwgraded from Platinum to Gold. I called the Customer Service of
Accor Plus Indonesia and they told me, "it's just because of the renewal". WHAT??? Okay,
ALL Accor Plus IS really a SCAMMER. No doubt!
